Today was a good day

We had some more good news today. One of the big procedures yesterday was drawing spinal fluid to look for signs of leukemia in his nervous system, which would be a major complication. They found zero, which is as great as it sounds.

Most of the day was spent quietly recovering. Wes is a bit sore from the marrow sampling, but his spirits are great. He’s got use of his hands back now that the port is installed, and he got to eat a lot. Pancakes, cookies, rice, all his favorite things.
