Wesley Morris Howard is sweet, intelligent, and the center of our lives, and we always considered him healthy and completely normal until the day we took him for a checkup to look at a minor rash. By the end of that night, at just two and a half years old, Wes was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
This site was created three days later by his mom, Stephanie Blakeslee Howard, and dad, Roger Howard, to document what will be a long and difficult process towards being cured of a disease that would have been a death sentence just a few decades ago.
