Wesley loved eating cookies – kiecoos – until his diagnosis. He’s been fondling this Christmas tree cookie for almost an hour and occasionally tells me it’s an ice cream cone and then pantomimes licking it, but it’ll crumble to soggy bits long before he actually takes a bite.
